Welcome! This cottage was built in 2023 as a cozy coastal retreat in the woods. The open-concept living/kitchen area has a vaulted wall of windows that lets you take in a towering forested view while relaxing by the pellet stove. Other standouts include the well-stocked kitchen and modern, comfy furnishings. We're 2 miles from the town of Rockaway Beach, and beach and lake access are 1/2 mile down the gravel road. This is such a special area- tucked away, yet close to so much to see and do.

GETTING HERE & PARKING: The home is located on a quiet gravel road, surrounded by trees and forest views. The driveway offers parking for up to two vehicles. If you or anyone in your group drives an electric vehicle, there is an outlet available for Level 2 charging on the street‑side of the house. You will find a portable charging cable in the home including a J1772 adapter forTeslas. Kindly avoid driving or parking on the narrow strip of land between our driveway and the neighboring property. This area is part of our septic field, and driving over it can cause damage. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: Friends are welcome, but for the comfort of the home and to protect the septic system, please limit occupancy to no more than six (6) people total, including children. ~ First-floor bedroom: Queen bed ~ Upstairs bedroom: One queen bed + one twin bed ~ Open loft (upstairs): Full‑size pull‑out futon KITCHEN The kitchen is compact and fully equipped for everyday cooking, including: ~ Range & oven ~ Microwave ~ Dishwasher ~ Small drip coffee maker ~ Coffee press (Aeropress) ~ Electric kettle ~ Toaster ~ Immersion blender with small food‑processor attachment ~ Pressure Cooker (Instant Pot) ~ Blender (Bullet) BATHROOMS The downstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower and the upstairs has a tub. Septic Reminder: Please do not flush any foreign items in the toilets. BACKYARD The back deck has a grill, chiminea (both propane), and 4 chairs. Additional camp chairs are in a deck box by the front door. A privacy fence has been built since most of these pictures were taken. It is visible in the picture with the chiminea. OUTDOOR FUN A deck box full of outdoor games and accessories that can be brought to the beach incudes: ~ Camp chairs (adult and kids) ~ A small cooler ~ Plastic plates ~ Frisbee ~ Kites ~ Bocce ball ~ Ladder ball ~ Sand toys for castle construction ~ A standard bucket and shovels for beach bonfires (douse all fires completely before covering with sand as you leave)

SEPTIC REMINDER (IMPORTANT) Because the home is on a septic system: - Please do not put grease, food scraps, or coffee grounds down the sink - There is no garbage disposal - A tin can (stored in a clear bin under the sink) is provided for cooking grease and oil
